Our sweaters are knitted by hand!
It takes 3 days of knitting to complete this pattern. These unique pieces are made by a community of women in the village of Panauti in the Kathmandu Valley. Women work at their own pace from home in order to be financially emancipated while providing for the needs of their household.

Interview

Our sweaters are made from 100% hand-knitted wool. They are very thick and will rarely need cleaning. In fact, wool is a fungicidal and bactericidal material: it neutralizes odors and is like “self-cleaning”. Airing your sweater out for a few hours in the fresh air is enough. If cleaning seems essential to you, we recommend that you take your sweater to a good dry cleaner.
Above all, do not machine wash or dryer!
